2008 Highlights

The 2008 Royal Welsh Smallholder and Garden Festival - the best and brightest event of its kind in Wales!

The 2008 Festival was a hive of activity, offering the perfect day out for all, whatever your interest or passion.

Celtic Dance Festival

The Festival included classes for conventional and rare breed livestock, a Green Horizons exhibition, a vintage machinery display, a dog show with over 1000 entries, and a Celtic dance festival.  Magnificent displays in the Floral Hall together with a wide range of garden, agricultural, food and craft stands and a full programme of family entertainment, made up the winning formula of the event.  Visitors could also listen in to a number of lectures and participate in question and answer sessions on a variety of smallholding, horticultural, environmental and countryside issues.

This is certainly a Festival which celebrates rural life in a practical but enjoyable way, in arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Wales. Make sure you join us at the next Royal Welsh Smallholder and Garden Festival on the 16th and 17th May.
