Wot’s Cooking

We are featuring cookery demonstrations at the Spring Festival this year with the emphasis on using fresh home grown, locally sourced seasonal food.
Running the stage are Katie and Glyn Johnson from www.wotscooking.co.uk and demonstrations will include making bread with fifth generation baker, Robert Swift on the Saturday, and featuring Celebrity Italian chef, Felice Tocchini on Sunday.
You’ll be able to see close at hand what the chefs are doing as Glyn will be keeping his eye on the camera (that’s if he remembers his glasses!) and Katie will keep you up to date with what is happening on the stage at all times.
Katie worked as a presenter and producer for BBC radio for 15 years and Glyn continues to do so, now in his 36th year! During this time, having been invited to compere events they became hooked and now Food, Drink & Gardening Shows are a big part of what they do and love every minute of it.
Not only are they supporters of local food and producers, they also run their own ‘small’ smallholding near Ludlow in Shropshire which includes Highland Cattle, Lleyn Sheep, free range hens and occasionally a couple of Berkshire pigs. Gardening too is close to Katie’s heart in more ways than one as it appears she knows the inside leg measurement of Alan Titchmarsh, and apparently it’s longer than you think!
