Call Box Office for cheaper tickets for Winter Fair

Visitors to the Royal Welsh Winter Fair still have time to save on the cost of admission and avoid queuing at the gate by purchasing their tickets prior to the event either online or by telephone by next Monday (November 21).

Members of the RWAS are entitled to a 25% reduction if they order their tickets by Friday, November 18, but anyone can save money when they buy on-line at www.rwas.co.uk or by telephoning the ticket Box Office on 0844 545 0532. Click here to find out more

The cost of single day tickets for adults paid for at the gate is £12 reduced to £11 if purchased  before the event.  Admission for children (5-16 years) is £3 and children aged 4 and under are admitted free of charge.  Two-day tickets for adults cost £20 and Any Day tickets for students are £10, which can be purchased prior to the event only.  Parking is free.  Tickets purchased in advance are subject to a £2 administration and postage charge.

The two-day Winter Fair, acclaimed the best event of its kind in Europe, will take place on the Royal Welsh showground at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, on Monday and Tuesday, November 28 and 29.

As well as nearly 1300 entries of prime stock – cattle, sheep, pigs and horses – there are 300 trade stands, a major poultry show, a produce and handicrafts show, floral art displays, antiques and avenues of stands and shops selling Christmas gifts.  The Food Hall will offer a range of quality food and drink produced in Wales.

In a survey conducted following last year’s Winter Fair more than 96% of visitors said they would recommend the event to others and nearly 71% said they would be attending the Fair again this year.
