Corporate hospitality at Royal Welsh Show
One of the most popular places for corporate visitors and their guests at the Royal Welsh Show – the Royal Welsh Hospitality Pavilion – will be open again for this year’s event in July. The facility, catering for businesses or individuals wishing to entertain clients, customers or friends, was introduced at the 2000 show and has become an established and sought-after venue reputed for its panoramic view of the main ring, the quality of its food and drink and first class service.
The pavilion will be available this year for the first three days of the show from Monday, July 21, to Wednesday, July 23, and because of demand, those planning to use it are urged to book now to avoid disappointment. The pavilion is used for private hire on the fourth day of the show and has already been fully booked.
The pavilion provides on the ground floor a marquee extension with tables for up to 12 parties of 10 people, and the first floor, with its own kitchen facilities, can accommodate 50 seated at tables. This area can be hired for private breakfasts, lunches or dinners or for evening meetings or seminars.
The corporate daily package costs £120 (+ VAT) per head including admission to the show, a complimentary programme and plan of the showground, and a day pass to the hospitality suite.
On arrival guests start the day with morning coffee and biscuits. Champagne, Bucks Fizz or fruit juices are served later and an open bar is provided from 12 noon to 3.00pm. A four course lunch, with wine, is served at 1.00pm, afternoon tea is also available and the lunch menu is changed daily by the caterers.
The Hospitality Pavilion is centrally located on the showground at Llanelwedd and one of the most appealing features for guests is its commanding view of the main ring. This year, in addition to all the usual main ring attractions, they will be able to enjoy such star performers as the Bolddog Lings team of extreme motor cycle riders and the Cossack horsemen from Ukraine who are returning to the Royal Welsh for the second time with their exciting repertoire of high-speed trick riding.
