At the 2011 Show the village will be organised by the Society in conjunction with Powys County Council and will feature a full programme of sports as well as a presence by the Cardiff Blues and Scarlets Rugby promotional teams; Age Cymru’s Nordic Walking; Urdd Gobaith Cymru; a Canoe Village and the Fields in Trust.

Age Cymru runs a national Nordic walking programme across Wales. Nordic Walking instructors and leaders offer Nordic walking courses, taster sessions and ongoing walks in local areas.
