BIO SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS
The Society has adopted DEFRA’s motto of ‘be seen to be clean’ and asks that the public and exhibitors alike give their full co-operation.
Entry to the main parts of the cloven-hoofed livestock and poultry areas will be across disinfected mats. Please ensure your footwear is visibly clean on ENTRY TO and EXIT FROM the livestock areas. Brushes and containers of disinfectant will be situated beside each mat should you wish to ensure the cleanliness of your footwear.
The public are requested to wash their hands if they touch any animals.
CORPORATE HOSPITALITY
The Society is offering corporate hospitality facilities to companies and individuals wishing to entertain guests at this year’s Royal Welsh Show. A daily package costs £120.00 plus VAT per head, which includes admission to the Show, complimentary programme, day pass to the hospitality suite and a full menu throughout the day.

DISABLED
Only those vehicles displaying the recognised RWAS disability sticker (RWAS disabled car park pass) will be given priority and permitted to park in North 5 car park. A disabled bus service operates to and from North 5 car park / Grandstand between 7.30 am and 9.30 pm.
Vehicles displaying the Social Services sticker will be parked in the first available car park where a forward area will be reserved and a park and ride service will be provided in N15, N16, N17, N18, S1 and S3 car parks. Please make sure you display your Social Services sticker clearly.
DOGS
With the exception of guide dogs, NO dogs will be permitted within the Showground perimeter fence. NO dogs are allowed in the Livestock (Cattle) Building, Royal Welsh Exhibition Centre, Horse Lines, Pig and Goat Lines, Collecting Rings, Fur and Feather Pavilion, South Glamorgan Exhibition Hall, Grandstand, Members Pavilion, Food Hall or any of the Society’s Dining Halls. Please do not leave dogs in cars.

INFORMATION BOOTHS
Situated within Entrances A, B, Machinery Entrance, Main Ring Underpass and next to the Grandstand. Acknowledgement is due to the WRVS. Information can also be obtained at the Show Shop under the Grandstand.
MAIN RING GRANDSTAND
£4.00 per seat, if room. It is not possible to reserve seats in advance. Seats in the public section may be purchased on Show days from 7.30 am.
An area is reserved at the northern end of the grandstand for those confined to wheelchairs. Access to the various sections of the grandstand has been improved.
MEMBERSHIP BOOTHS
Situated at Entrances A, B & C and at the Tŷ Ynys Môn - opposite the Montgomery Pavilion.
PARK & RIDE SERVICE
A free service is available to transport visitors to and from the South 1, South 2 (Smithfield), South 3 (Wernfawr), North 15, North 16, North 17 & North 18 car parks and Builth Road Station.

The taking of photographs within the Showground is strictly forbidden except by authorised operators or by individuals for private purposes. Visitors are advised not to employ unauthorised photographers on the Showground. Professional photography on the Showground is not allowed except on the Society’s written authority. The Society reserves the right to remove unauthorised photographers from the Showground. The Society’s official photographers are:

VEHICLE CLAMPING
Please note that illegally parked vehicles for sleeping in (caravan, tents & camper vans etc) parked in the Society’s car, caravan, livestock vehicle and coach parks during the Show period (Sunday 20th to Thursday 24th July 2008) will be clamped.
Please ensure therefore that vehicle passes (where appropriate) are firmly fixed to the front windscreen of your vehicle.

LOST CHILDREN
Lost Child Marquee
Avenue E – Stand No. E383
Lost children should be reported to the Police at Entrance A. Any child found wandering should be taken to the Lost Child Marquee situated in Avenue E opposite the Grandstand, the Police, the RWAS Headquarters or a Society official.
The Society advises that two persons escort the lost child. There are specific procedures in place for the return of found children to parents/carers. Details can be obtained from the RWAS Headquarters.
This marquee will operate between 9.30 am - 7.30 pm. Thereafter lost children are cared for by the Police, who are based at Entrance A.
ALCOHOL ABUSE
It is an offence to carry alcoholic drink around the Showground. Drinking in public places, especially in the avenues, is an evictable offence and members will run the additional risk of having their membership cancelled.
No exhibitor or competitor should consume alcohol until his or her competition has ended. Individuals or teams who ignore this ruling will risk being banned.
